BetterLife has always been guided by one belief: people helping people in times of need. That belief led hardworking families to establish Western Fraternal Life Association in 1897 and National Mutual Benefit in 1902. In 2021, the two came together to form BetterLife. In 2025, CSA Fraternal Life, the oldest active fraternal benefit society in America, joined the family too.
More than a century later, that belief still shapes who we are. You can see it in our local member groups, coming together to celebrate, learn, and give back to their communities.
