How do I access my policy information?

As a BetterLife member, you can access and review your policy information through our Member Portal.  Enrolling in our member portal will provide you with access to:

  • Your policy information
  • Link to make a payment
  • Last five annual statements
  • Policy Owner Forms available for download
  • Update your Member Services Online account profile information

For help setting up your profile, please reference our friendly user guide here. For easy access anytime you return to our website, simply click on ‘Member Login’ in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to access the Member Portal.

How do I make a payment?

One-Time Payments

To make a one-time payment, visit the BetterLife Make a Payment portal for fast, easy payment processing. You will be redirected to a secure website where you can pay your bill using your credit card or bank account information. We do not currently accept debit cards.

Q:  Which forms of payment does the BetterLife payment portal accept?

A:  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit cards. You can also use your checking account or savings account.

Q:  When will my payment be reflected on my account?

A:  Your payment will appear on your credit card statement or in your bank account the following business day.

Q:  Will I receive a confirmation number after making a payment?

A:  Yes! You will also have the option to print a receipt or email a copy to yourself.

Q:  What information do I need to make a payment?

A:  You will need your policy number, zip code, valid payment information, and the amount you wish to pay.

 

Recurring or Automatic Payments

You can enroll for EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) to have payments automatically deducted from your banking account when payments are due. To enroll, please download and complete the EFT Agreement Form. Fax the completed form to 608-833-4849 or mail it to BetterLife, PO Box 1527, Madison, WI 53719. For security reasons, we ask that you do not email us your completed form unless we have sent you a secure email that you can respond to.

We will provide confirmation to you when your payment information has been updated.

How do I update my payment information?

How do I update my name or address?

You may update your name or address by downloading and completing the Address/Name Change Request Form. Please return the completed form to us, with any required associated documents, via fax or mail to 608-833-4849 or BetterLife, PO Box 1527, Madison, WI 53719. How do I update my beneficiaries?

Please download and complete the Request for Change of Beneficiary Form to update one or more of your beneficiaries. How do I make a change to my policy?

BetterLife has convenient forms available for you to download and submit to our office. How do I make a withdrawal from my policy?

To make a withdrawal from your policy, please fill out one of the below forms or contact our Home Office for assistance. How do I set up automatic loan payments?

To update or setup automatic loan payments, please complete the EFT Agreement Form and indicate the appropriate amount under ‘Policy Loan Repayment Amount’ on the form. How do I proceed with a death claim?

It is our honor to be here for you in your time of need. To begin the claims process, a family member or friend of the deceased should contact our claims team promptly at 800-779-1936.
