A Values-Based Partnership Rooted in Respect for Community and Tradition

BetterLife and WSA Fraternal Life

BetterLife has announced plans to merge with WSA Fraternal Life, a member-owned company with more than 115 years of history serving members through community, mutual support, and life insurance products. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.

The joining of our two organizations reflects BetterLife’s commitment to growing in a thoughtful, values-driven way, strengthening our ability to serve our members while embracing the traditions built by WSA Fraternal Life.

As this process moves forward, WSA Fraternal Life is expected to become a part of the BetterLife family of organizations and continue to maintain its own fraternal name, traditions, lodge structure, and community identity. BetterLife and WSA Fraternal Life expect the transaction to close December 2026, with full integration anticipated by September 2027.

What This Partnership Represents

  • WSA Fraternal Life will retain its name, brand, lodges, and community programs.

  • Members will continue participating in the same local experiences and traditions and enjoy access to additional financial products and member benefits.

  • BetterLife will provide long‑term financial strength and operational support

Why BetterLife Chose to Pursue This Agreement

BetterLife seeks partnerships with mission-driven organizations that share its commitment to serving members, strengthening communities, and preserving traditions that bring people together. Both BetterLife and WSA Fraternal Life both began with communities who believed in looking out for one another, and that tradition has been at the core of both organizations for more than a century. Together, we can do even more for the members and communities we serve.
