BetterLife wants to help end hunger in your community, but we need your help! Let’s work together to bring BetterLife’s Walk to End Hunger to life. Our goal is to fight hunger by creating fundraising walks in as many member communities as possible. These walks will take place on August 8, 2021 with multiple kickoff events leading up to the big day. Help us fight hunger and give others a better life!
Over the past year, our communities have struggled in many ways, but food banks and pantries have been hit especially hard. Our member groups (lodges and branches) often work closely with hunger relief organizations—this event is our way of giving back and saying “thank you” for all of their hard work during this challenging time. Additionally, we’ll be introducing BetterLife to our communities by not only welcoming BetterLife members to participate, but inviting our friends, co-workers, and neighbors to join as well.
Ultimately, we want our communities to get to know us at BetterLife, and there’s no better way than to work together —member leaders, community members, and BetterLife members alike—on a deserving cause.
Soon, our member leaders across the country will be working to plan fundraising kickoff parties and walks. Keep an eye on your email inbox for your invitation to join us at the Walk to End Hunger fundraising kickoff. Help us share BetterLife with others while giving back to a worthy cause! Visit the Walk to End Hunger website for kickoff party and walk details on events near you.
You can also visit our Facebook Events page, click on the walk event closest to you, and click “interested”—Facebook will provide you with reminder notifications leading up to the walk!
Anyone can lend a hand! We are looking for volunteers to help with a variety of event activities. Sign up to volunteer at our Walk to End Hunger web page.
Can’t make it to a kickoff party or walk? That’s OK! You can still help raise funds from the comfort of your own home. All funds go directly to a hunger-relief charity in one of our member communities. Let’s show others how much better we can be when we work together. Check out our fundraising website for different walk locations and more information.
COVID-19 disclaimer: Walks and in-person events will be planned according to state and county guidelines in the community of each walk event. Back-up virtual meetings are an option. All funds raised will go to the selected hunger relief organizations in the communities, regardless of an in-person or virtual walk.
